Director of Steiger Middle East
Lukas Ruegger is the Director of Steiger Middle East and has lived in Beirut, Lebanon, for the past 9 years. He and his wife, Denise, have three children.
Together with his creative team, Lukas launched an evangelistic storytelling platform in Arabic, which is followed by over 300,000 young people across the Arab world and beyond.
In Beirut, he and his team engage in weekly Bible studies for skeptics, apologetic discussions, street outreach, community dinners, and other events.

Lukas is passionate about helping both skeptics and believers think through hard questions regarding the Christian faith. He has an M.A. in Christian Apologetics and has recently launched a YouTube channel called “Deflate,” on which he tackles the most often-heard intellectual objections against Christianity.
