International Newsletter February 2014
I just received the following report from David Wilson who is the director of Turkish Asian Creative Outreach and Steiger's Middle East Advisor.
Before our concert he had become an "intellectual" believer but after the No Longer Music concert the Holy Spirit touched him deeply and he moved into a much deeper faith. He attends the Diyarbakir church and he has had a real miraculous Apostle Paul type of conversion.
After the 2008 concert, the No Longer Music Team attended the Sunday service at the Diyarbakir Church and Luke Greenwood (one of our Steiger leaders) happened to talk to Ahmad.
Ahmad suggested that we take NLM to Iraq to bring Jesus to the freedom fighters. He told Luke that they really need Jesus and that they are really open to the Gospel. This conversation with Ahmad in 2008 was the catalyst for No Longer Music in Iraq in 2011.
As I write this, I am traveling in Southeastern Turkey and I met with Ahmad. He told me that he would like to organize No Longer Music Concerts in his town and in some of the Syrian Refugee Camps in the Syrian areas outside of the camps.
Pray that God will open this door again for No Longer Music to go to Iraq!
Dave Wilson
Dave Wilson is a very radical guy who has been based in Istanbul, Turkey for close to 30 years. He is also on our Steiger International Leadership Team. I love Wilson because he is courageous and not ashamed of the Gospel.
God has used him to bring many people to Jesus in Turkey and many other closed countries. He is responsible for organizing our No Longer Music tour this year in Turkey and Iraq, along with Safak who is the son of a Muslim Cleric who gave his life to Jesus.
The last time we toured in Turkey and Iraq, I was so moved by the young people and their hungry hearts and how much they are open to Jesus. I can't really explain to you deep the love God gave me for the Turkish people and those we talked with in Iraq.
At the same time it is a difficult and scary part of the world. We NEED God's protection and His power to bring the message of the cross to such places. We can't do this without God and His strength.

Pray for Wilson and Safak. That they have wisdom as they organize our No Longer Music tours in Turkey and Iraq. That Jesus goes before them and that nothing will stop us from proclaiming Jesus to these young people who deserve to hear the truth!
For the lost,
David Pierce

Has God called you to the mission field? Has He called you to reach and disciple the Secularized Global Youth Culture for Jesus?
The 10-week school – led by Jodi Pierce and Luke Greenwood - places a great emphasis on seeking God in a contemplative atmosphere and provides students with the strong spiritual and practical foundations necessary for a lifetime of missionary service. Steiger leaders (including David Pierce) and missionaries from around the globe will provide examples of "real life" missionary work, teaching on a wide range of topics and will introduce students to Steiger's mission, vision, and values.
In addition to lectures, the school includes regular hands-on local evangelistic opportunitIes, a week-long international outreach, corporate prayer and worship, personal time for seeking God and a weekly meeting with a personal mentor.
Are you ready to go anywhere God calls you to go and do anything He asks you to do?
Upon completion of the school, students can begin the process (internship, practical field experience or further training where necessary) of becoming an official Steiger missionary in the areas of evangelistic art/music, evangelism and discipleship to secularized global youth, administrative and organizational support.
